“What makes me feel sh***y?” . That is a question I wish I had asked myself earlier in life and more often. When I recently did, I decided to write down all the things that negatively affected my mood. The list was not as long as I thought it would be and I quickly discovered that it was a rather small limited number of things that made me feel bad. The second step was to write down everything that made me feel great and so i did. The final step was to match what made me feel great to what made me feel bad – the results were surprising, one thing that made me feel great could be a direct antidote to several that made me feel bad. For example, making great health decisions everyday was an answer not only to the physical unhealthy decisions that made me feel sh***y, but also an answer to a productivity issue I have wanted to fix.
Another observation was that, the things that made me feel great were no complicated processes but simple easy resolutions that keep popping up in my mind whenever I start feeling sh***y again.
